Kate couldn’t always touch her toes.

After being diagnosed with anorexia as a teenager, followed by years of anxiety and depression, it took Kate a trip to her first yoga class to finally ‘get it’. The key to loving herself again was to take a step back, breathe, be present and listen to her body. Within a month she was off anti-depressants and learning a whole heap about herself. She fell in love with the practice its philosophy and was able to treat her body with kindness and find a career she loved.

She’s super in love with her job and hasn’t looked back.

After gaining many skills as an Account Manager in a digital agency, Kate left knowing she wanted a career where she was giving more back to community and doing something she truly believed in. Although tough at first and a huge career change, she’s not looked back and loves teaching yoga as well as writing about health and wellness.

Kate gets a kick out of blissing you out. It’s her job – and it doesn’t always have to be through the ‘physical’ practice of yoga. She can share with you some potent methods on stepping back and getting present in order to make choices that are true to your core values as a woman.
